There was a tear that rolled down that cold face of hers, it was undecided, not knowing whether to be unhappiness or some sort of randomness. But then that was a known trait of hers, the flash of emotion only to be discarded and well hidden under the white sky behind her eyes. Unreadable. You would think you knew how she felt but she brought you denial and hesitation. Leading you to be one of the ghosts in the living damnation you assume she saw the world as. You knew her well at least you thought you did, the hiccup in her laugh as once she started she could not stop. Or the slight crinkle of her nose when she heard something she did not like, which was often. The faint wisp of hair at the back of her neck because she always left her hair up. Or the deep chestnut of her eyes in the pale moonlight because god forbid she went in the sun. You could not forget the shape of her body as she walked to you in her many stances everyday. No you could read her like she was a book you could not forget because it was that good, she was like a traumatic event repeating deeply in your mind. She made your heart ache with utmost freshness and soon left a dull ache after the memory faded. So you knew her for all she was, but she hid all of herself and pretended through the sadness and faked it for randomness. Because she was cold, unfeeling yet warm and understanding. For the life of you, you did not comprehend your deep love for her but you were a passing stranger just as she deemed her closest friends. The tear that rolled down her face was gone as quick as it came just as you were in her life. For her closest friends would become strangers, devils on her hell bent Earth, and she would be half devil and half angel living in isolation mortifyingly content. While you loved her and loved her till hell became your society, and you were just one of them.
